Within the last few hours the results that both training providers and employers have been waiting for have been announced.  Successful organisations have today been informed of their inclusion on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, pending their written acceptance of the conditions outlined by the Skills Funding Agency.

Perhaps the most siginificant part of this for successful applicants is that they are now able to deliver apprenticeship training to employers that will pay the apprenticeship levy, for any apprenticeships that start on or after 1st May 2017.

As an employer you will shortly be able to view the register and check if your preferred suppliers have made it through.  If they have not, then you will need to consider your options for delivery carefully. Successful applicants will have proof before the register is published so our advice would be to seek clarification as soon as possible and don't wait.  Essentially you can now move your planning to the next level, safe in the knowledge that your providers have been approved.

For those organisations that were unsuccessful, or didn't apply, the Skills Funding Agency has announced it will shortly re-open the process for applying to get onto the register.

Ascento (the trading name of JGW Training Ltd) are pleased to announce that we are now approved and on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers.  Please feel free to speak to our team or click below for advice or support on our Management Apprenticeship Standards Programmes or for any guidance on all things 'apprenticeship levy' related.  We look forward to supporting you as you develop your apprenticeship provision for both new and existing employees.
