HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT ASCENTO?
I joined the Digital Marketing team in 2021 (I guess that makes me the newbie of the team).
WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE WORKING FOR ASCENTO?
I have over 10 years' experience in marketing, working within the Health and Fitness sector. I am a marketeer of multiple hats, all my roles have seen me responsible for all marketing functions from content creation to strategy, to brand development and everything in between. This has given me a wealth of practical knowledge in a variety of different situations.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT YOUR ROLE?
It is extremely rewarding being able to share the experience I have gained throughout my career with learners, what worked well for me and... what did not. Every day is a day to learn something new and often the biggest lessons come from mistakes and that’s okay!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO GET UP OUTSIDE OF WORK?
On a personal note, outside of work I have 2 young daughters who steal all my time (and sleep). Along with my husband, we like to spend our weekends in the Peak District exploring nature and stopping for coffee and cake. We love to travel the UK and regularly have weekends away on the North Yorkshire coast.
